Gotta love this picture of Ashlee on Christmas with Ky picking his nose in the background. What a boy. Anyway- leave it to Ash to say something completely random and weird... We were having some family time tonight and watching "The Man from Snowy River." (Yes- my choice totally) Anyway- the main dude "Jim" is riding on his horse and Ashlee says this in a very matter-of-fact way: (forgive me if my spelling is off. I am sure it is.)
"I really like that guys hat. It looks really good on him. It is the coolest hat ever. I don't like it when he takes it off though. He looks like Sakagewia."

My roommate and I went to Cafe Rio last night. On our way out there was a man begging for change. Julie and I apologized for not having any change.
As we walked away she turned to me
Julie: "I guess I had a Sacagawea Coin I could have given him."
Cassie: "Boy have I got a story for you..."
Okay, I love that story, and Cassie's comment. By the way, Grandma Barber turned me on to The Man From Snowy River when I was little, and it's had a soft spot in my heart ever since. Oh, Jessica's Theme - is there any heart you can't melt?
I know- I love that song. It makes me all goofy and romantic. That does not happen often!!
My kid are full of random comments just like that.
