Apparantly I have been busy...

9 months have passed since I last logged on. How sad for my kids! Here is a quick, and boring, summary of the last 9 months. And I will have to fill in with pictures later I guess...

• Kyller started 1st grade, Ashlee 4th, and Rilee 6th.


• Rilee got her 3 year in a row superior in piano federation. Ashlee is also playing well and will do her first federation next year.


• Kyller, Rilee, and Ashlee all played flag football last fall. Kyller is playing this Spring as well and Ashlee and Rilee chose soccer.


• Scott and I went to Washington DC, and then to New York with Cass and Danielle.


• I went back to New York a couple months later with Emma.


• I went back to NYC again with Katie, Emma, Jenny, and took Rilee for her 12th birthday and my Mom for her 60th.


• Notice a trend? I was instantly hooked to NYC. Already trying to get back.


• I helped coordinate the opening of 4 new CFA restaurants since i last blogged- lots of work, but fun.


• I was elected vice-chair of South Jordan Chamber of Commerce. I love it. Good for my business, good for me. Love learning more about the political side of our community and enjoy going to city council and planning commission meetings. It has been interesting.


• Scott suddenly and surprisingly decided he wanted to start hunting and shooting guns. I guess he did this with his family before we met, but he has not shot a gun or gone hunting once since we met 13 years ago- until last month. Now it is his favorite thing ever.


• We celebrated Scott's 36th birthday, Rilee's 12th, Ashlee's 10th, and Kyllers 7th birthday is in 2 days.


• We bought a travel trailer to do some "camping" with the kids. We took our first trip to Snow canyon, and it rained the whole time, but it was fun anyway. Cannot wait to go again.


• We just got a new sweet little nephew, Lincoln.


• My grandmother passed away, and although it was good since she had such a poor quality of life, I miss her greatly.


• I started with a new trainer this week. Goodbye fatty.


• We have been remodeling the house since we were unable to sell it. That has been crazy and fun- all in one. We get carpet next week, and I cannot wait!


• This is so lame- but we sold my mustang that CFA gave me as an award. It was a little sadder than I expected. Not because I loved the car or needed it, but because it was something I really worked hard for. Blood, sweat and tears. Sad- but I don't really need stuff like that.


• Rilee and I went to her junior high orientation. It was good- all her friends were screaming for her on the front row and saving her a seat. Although I was " instructed" to sit behind her. :) She literally cannot wait to start.


• Kyller and Ashlee will start at a brand new school this fall, which has been a blessing because now they will be on traditional- no more year round! wahoo! Good timing with rilee starting Junior High.
