The place where they say really long "O's"

Sorry about the pics- I am a moron and don't have time to figure out how to flip these around. If I do it- there will be now blog for sure. So there you go. Anyway- here is a whole bunch of pics from our recent trip to Wisconsin/Minnesota. We had a great time!! The pic above is Kyller and my Mom at My uncle John and Aunt Chris' beautiful property in Wassau Wisconsin. It really is an amazingly pretty place!

Rilee with her middle namesake- my Aunt Christine on her front porch. Ri loves her Aunt Chris a lot- they have a special connection.

Ashlee on their big tree swing back in the forrest on their property. This was a highlight for the kids. They came up with a system where they would take turns each getting 3 big pushes, and when they were slowing down at the end of the third, they had to "rope a tree" with the end of the swing rope. It was so cute.

Rilee on the big swing

The kids at the Mall of America in Minneapolis- the most gigantic place you could ever spend $50,000 in one day. Truly.

Me, Ri, and Ash standing in line for a roller coaster at the Nickelodeon theme park in the Mall of America.

Lego Land at Mall of Americxa- the big sculptures made from legos were really neat.

The kids at Lego land. Yes- the pair of shoes behind them goes to a huge lego statue.
On another ride!

This was a beautiful art gallery that I of course can no longer remember the name of. Chris- help me out. This was a highlight of the trip for me- I loved it.

Aunt Chris, Kyller, Ashlee, and Rilee

Rilee's favorite sculpture

Kyller's favorite. I have to say I loved this one as well. This artist is a friend of my uncle Stan, who is also an artist. It makes the world seem small when my Uncle Stan lives in Japan, and his friends art is in Wisconsin. This piece looks like it is made of wood, but believe it or not, it was made of steel. Amazing.

Ashlee's favorite!

We ate at this crazy restaurant. It was an experience, that is for sure. All you can eat of every fattenning meat imaginable! And that sign was like 80 feet tall- huge!
Dad, Scott, Stan, and Siudi pigging out at Paul Bunyan's!

Rilee with Grandma Leslie

Chris was a great Aunt and took Kyller under her wing for this meal. It was a nice break to be at least 5 feet away :)

Uncle Johm, Cousin Jacob and Cousin Rachel! Aren't my cousins adorable?

Kyller at the coolest petting zoo on the planet- it was like 30 acres or something. I could have stayed there for days. The kids were sick of it before I was.

Rilee and a baby Kangaroo

Mom with a goat that was eating her shirt . She had a hard time ditching this guy- it was so funny. He jumped up on her and was face to face. I wish I caught it on camera. She was a good sport and laughed along with me :

My Green eyed girl with a baby bunny

We went to the Wisonsin State Trick waterskiing championships. It was really cool. There is a lake everwhere you look here. Scott would have never been bored if he lived here!

I missed the picture of th 4 tier pyramid. Oh well!

Ashlee loved the tricks.

Dad and his brother Stan fishing on lake DuBai.

The kids waiting for their first fishing trip!

Rilee caught the first fish! You can tell Kyller was thrilled! This was such a great trip. We also went to a fun lumberjack show that Ashlee was taken up on stage for. It was pretty cool. We also had some great dinners together, time around the firepit, and a fun time with the "Women only" in the hottub after everone was in bed. Mom- I want to buy you a hottub just to do that again. It was so great. Thanks for John and Chris for putting us up in such a beautiful home. It was so fun to visit them and see Stan and Siudi as well, and we hope we get to go again soon!!

Next time... I am coming with you. Looks like you had a great time. I always love a petting zoo. If you don't count the smell.
